Expose’, Plight of the Unborn by Garrison Thomas

Updated: Jan 20, 2023

On Monday, January 22, 1973, the Supreme Court struck down all restrictive laws against abortion, in essence saying that the individual had the right to do with her own body whatever she wanted. Jonathan Cahn, a prophet of our own pointed out in his recent book Harbinger II that on or about the same above date in 2019, the first COVID case was discovered in this country. I don’t think that this is a coincidence, neither does Jonathan Cahn. There has been an estimated sixty-two million murders through abortion in this country alone since 1973, and more than one billion unborn children have been butchered worldwide and God will not hold the church nor the world guiltless. I perceive that God is bringing judgment on the church, this nation, and ultimately the whole world. I believe that this judgment will progressively worsen right up into the tribulation period, see Isaiah 28:17-19; Ezekiel 7:25-27. There is biblical precedent for the slaughter of the unborn that is taking place all over the world. These recorded instances in the Bible depict the vicious atrocities perpetrated, probably in various stages of development, while still in their mothers womb. Consider these proof text, II Kings 8:12, II Kings 15:16, Hosea 13:16 and Amos 1:13. Through these verses you can see the cruelty by which the women were eviscerated of the fruit of their wombs. As you can also see from the Bibles account, the women themselves were recipients of this brutal butchery. The devil has always vented his misogyny through murder, this hatred is extended to her seed as well. God presents a scathing indictment against Israel for the heathen practice of child sacrifice as recorded in Ezekiel 16:20-21, “moreover thou has taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter, that thou hast slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them?” The indictment still holds just as sure, for the church, this nation and the world in these end times, see Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 and Ecclesiastes 3:15. The unborn in this nation and in this world are also passing through the fire in a sense, as the whoredoms of Babylon continue. Anyone with the testimony of Jesus will affirm that this is not a small matter. In a failed attempt to devour the promised seed, the devil, as described in Revelation 12:2-5, as a dragon, in all three types murders the children, Exodus 1:16-22 Matthew 2:16. In our case abortion is now being practiced worldwide in an effort to extinguish a worldwide man-child indicating this is to be the timing of the fulfillment of these verses. In these end times the devil has become even more subtle and resourceful in his murderous scheme against the unborn. It appears as if he is getting two birds with one stone, so to speak, or possibly even more. In most cases, young girls or women who abort their children are unmarried, and they do so through other influences such as a boyfriend, friends, parents or some other family members. Thus, after the baby is aborted there is usually more than one guilty party. Reverend Derek Prince, one of the most prolific Bible teachers of these end times said in his book “They Shall Expel Demons,” that the Bible defines murder primarily as an inner attitude: Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him, I John 3:15. A woman who has had an abortion almost certainly has a demon of murder, even if she did not realize she was taking a human life. She probably cannot be set free until she confesses her sin and repents. This is often also true of those who enabled her to abort her child.” To the spiritual, it is obvious to see how the devil has widened his net. In ancient Israel there was a burning desire in Jewish women towards pronatalism. Consider Rachel and Hannah and when the virgin Mary received tidings that she would bring forth a son, her response was, “be it unto me according to thy word,” Luke 1:38. When Israel turned away from God to idolatry, the door was opened for the devil to destroy the children, always with the sole intent of eradicating the promised seed. What could be more precious to God than a little child being formed in the womb by him? Psalms 127:3 says “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord; and the fruit of the womb is his reward.”

Psalms 139:13-16 gives great insight into the process of development of the unborn child in the womb. In fact, God actually gives the unborn child a resounding voice in the text. How much more should we as believers do the same. I did a word study on the text using the Brown, Driver, Briggs Hebrew English Lexicon as my reference and these are my findings:

Psalms 139:13, Possessed – To get, acquire (all poetically) of God as originating,

creating.

Psalms 139:13, Reins - Of man, only poetically, as created by Yahweh. The

Hebrews believed that the reins were the first part of the human fetus to be

formed, so here it may refer to laying the foundation of being. This seems clear

from the fact that it speaks of the formation in the womb, (v13) and of being

fearfully and wonderfully made (v14). The Stone Tanakh translates Psalms

139:13, “for you have created my mind, you have covered me in my mother’s

womb.”

Psalms 139:14, Fearfully - The reference is to the reverence and awe of Yahweh

being extended towards his creation of man, particularly man’s God given ability

to procreate.

Psalms 139:14, Wonderfully - To be surpassing, extraordinary.

Psalms 139:14, Marvellous - To be separated, distinct, wonderful, namely in

bodily stature, etc.

Psalms 139:15, Substance - Bones, collective, that is formed by collecting

assembled or accumulated into a whole, suffixed, added to until the whole is

complete = my frame.

Psalms 139:15, Secret - Covering, hiding-place, secrecy, secret place of the womb

Psalms 139:15, Curiously Wrought - Variegated, to be skillfully wrought woven,

see Verse 13.

Psalms 139:15, Lowest Parts of the Earth - Figuratively, of the dark and hidden

interior of the womb.

Psalms 139:16, Substance Yet Being Unperfect - Embryo, unfinished vessel, mine

imperfect substance (RV) did thine eyes see.

Psalms 139:16, Book - Missive, document, writing, God’s record book.

Psalms 139:16, Written - In Yahweh’s book all of them, my members are written

i.e., written down, recorded.

Psalms 139:16, Continuance - In due time.

Psalms 139:16, Fashioned - To form, fashion, create, days that were preordained

(in the divine purpose).

Psalms 139:16, As translated by the JPS Tanakh - Your eyes saw my unformed

limbs; they were all recorded in your book; in due time they were formed, to the

very last one of them.

I appreciate your time in reading this Expose and word study. I trust that this

writing by the Holy Spirit has been rich with understanding, insight, and has

inspired you deeply to become an advocate for the cause of the unborn.

Mark 10:14

Call to return to Gospel Preaching | Roe v Wade passed in 1973. Roe represents the 22 year old, unmarried, pregnant for the third time woman and Wade is the District Attorney whose job it was to enforce the state law. Facts presented in The Atlantic article entitled, The Eclipse of White Christian America revealed that in 1974, the year after Roe v Wade passed, 63% of the population identified themselves as Christians. Here's the link: https://www.theatlantic.com/.../the-eclipse-of.../490724/ . In the 1950's, 95% of voters identified as Christian. Prayer was removed from schools in 1962, Engel v. Vitale. It is not enough for us to show up at church on Sunday. Step out of your comfort zone and tell someone that…
