About the event
Passover begins before sundown on Monday, April 22, 2024 and ends after nightfall on April 30, 2024. On the evening of April 22nd, all families are encouraged to share a meal in remembrance of our Lord Jesus. The LORD caused death to pass over each home that had applied the blood of a sacraficed, unblemished lamb to the doorposts (Ex 12:1-28).
Similarly, Jesus was presented to Israel as being perfect before His sacrifice. He was crucified at Passover. Jesus, the Messiah, was the perfect, sinlessless, sacrifice, to take away not just our sins but the sins of the world. Jesus defeated sin and death once for all who will believe He is the Son of God in the flesh.
