Happy Hanukkah

"As believers in Jesus, the Messiah, we remember the example of the Master:  

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. (Mark 10:45 ESV)

Jesus is the servant candle that lights all other candles when the hanukkiah are lit.  It is our duty to shine the light of Jesus into the world, just as the hanukkiah carries forth the light that originates in the shamash (the servant candle).
